The Old Testament has much to contribute to biblical and systematic theology. But exactly how to press forward can be difficult because of the historical, cultural, literary and theological barriers. A good overall Biblical theology requires a reading of the Old Testament that allows it’s discrete and unified witness to emerge and proper grasp of its treatment and relevance in the New Testament era can be gained.
