Mentoring within The Trilogy Project

The Trilogy Project is a three-year online training program to equip present and emerging leaders and is open to both men and women. The time the student spends with their mentor is a significant part of the Trilogy experience.  In conjunction with the online teaching, mentoring affords Trilogy students a well-rounded learning experience that will serve them for years to come.

When establishing an effective training program it is important that a mentoring element provide a relational context for accountability and incorporating the teaching into the student’s life.  Successful mentoring develops learning into a lifestyle growth process rather than simply the accumulation of knowledge.  Without mentoring, the focus would be reduced to the communication of information, which by itself does not prepare a person for leadership.  Thus the Trilogy Project seeks to implement a strong mentoring aspect.

Because mentoring relationships are vital to a successful Trilogy experience, students are required to have a local mentor for each course.  The following information helps explain and equip those who will be participating as Trilogy mentors.  Please take the time to look over all the information carefully: it is important to understand the commitment required of Trilogy mentors.
