This course looks at the emergence and development of the of the Kingdom of God motif in both the Old and New Testaments in order to understand more deeply God’s mission through God’s people and in God’s world. Jesus’ kerygma of the Kingdom will also be studied, through his teaching, his actions and his kingdom parables.

- To understand Jesus’ proclamation of the Kingdom in the New Testament through the study of Kingdom parables and his mission.

- To understand the role of the present Kingdom and the future Kingdom of God as it relates to the present day mission of church.
